Hawkman: DC Comic Superhero who was reincarnated from Egyptian prince



Do you know where Hawkman, the superhero of DC Comic, comes from? Is there any superhero who comes from Egypt? What is the relation of Hawkman and Egyptian culture? Where does Hawkman get his power? Why does Hawkman have wings on his back? Hawkman is one of the great comic characters that you need to know. Hawkman has been published by DC Comic and created by Gardner Fox working together with Dennis Neville the artist. The superhero appeared in Flash Comics number 1 in 1940. As superhero Hawkman also has some abilities and weapons like large artificial wings and a staff. The artificial wings are attached to a harness made from special Nth metal that allows the user to fly. On earth and on daily life Hawkman known as Carter Hall who is a reincarnation personality from an ancient Egyptian prince named Khufu. As Carter Hall, Khufu works as an archaeologist who discovered the ninth metal which can negate the effects of gravity. Carter Hall use this ninth metal to help him fly. Carter Hall designed a costume with large wings to help him to control his flight. Cartel Hall then turned into a crime fighter. As an archaeologist Carter Hall also has found many interesting things like ancient weapons that he could make use to be his weapon. Khufu had a girlfriend Chay-Ara who also has reincarnated into the same age with Carter Hall and she is known as Shiera Saunders. Together with Hawkman, Shiera fights the crime as Hawkgirl.


The second Hawkman was Katal Hol who is an honored police from Thanagar. Together with his wife, Katal Hol sent to earth in 1961 to capture Byth. After that they decided to stay on earth and learn about how policemen on earth are working. There are several enemies known to fight against Hawkmen; they are Gentlemen Ghost, Hath Set, Monocle, Byth, Fadeaway Man, IQ, Kite Man, Lion Mane, Matter Master, Shadow Thief and Onimar Synn.
